I'm at the coffee shop with Rich and I’m looking around.
People reading and playing with their phones.
I say to him, you know, Rich, because I'm sick,
I'm sensitive to the fact that everyone else is dying, too.
We’re all headed to a pretty sorry end.
But they act like nothing’s happening.
I want to go from table to table and say to them,
Hi, you do know death is coming for you, right?
What are you going to do about that?
And Rich leans across the table and whispers to me,
"I don’t think they want you to tell them that, Mike."
